At CCCS we believe that data should work for you. We developed the SAR Tool for use by providers, essentially as a bureau service.
Data entry routines to SART are automated to ensure accuracy. SART was designed specifically to enhance data presentation for inspection and has been favourably commented upon by all who have seen the results and use the data. Inspections up and down the country have shown that data, while collected successfully, are simply not used to best advantage. SART enables constant updates, showing managers exactly where they are in comparison to targets (graph above shows targets in red against green "actuals") at any moment in time. Data can be updated whenever necessary. However, experience suggests that monthly is appropriate.
SART uses the new Subject Sector Area classifications and displays all relevant figures on the graphs so little or no interpretation is required. SART has pre-formatted printouts for each centre / provider, district and service. So reporting is available at any level required. The extract below shows one of the table screens. Each year is colour coded for ease of use. The colours used are the same as those used in graphical displays for ease of interpretation.
SART requires Microsoft Office 2000™ or above to be installed on a user's machine (best functionality with Office 2007™). No experience of data entry is necessary neither is any in-depth experience necessary of any Office™ system. SART is designed to work with TERMS, AQUA, AEC and ACLAIM. It can easily be configured for outputs from other MI systems.
How SART works: We send you a specification of the data report(s) we need; You send us electronic version of the data; We send the system compiled with reports ready for you to use. The Bureau Service typically starts from £250 per month and delivers a wide range of reports for use at all levels of the Service. (The exact requirements are agreed in advance and the figure quoted is for an annual support contract). Please email us if you want further information or to discuss options. |
